before you try anything, make sure he has deleted the update itself. If not, he'll be getting some sort of weird protocol error... protocol 43 or 45 or something like that. Or it will say "expected version 3" or something... He should be able to play on 1.16 servers if he's running 1.11, but he's gotta have a quake-free machine to begin with. I had these weird protocol problems when I was first figuring out how to run the server. Man, what a nightmare. If all that shit dosent work, try that program from my other post. If THAT dosent work, try starcraft... theres not as many cheaters there!
