Date Posted: 02:29:20 03/15/02 Fri I play games to have fun. I play Quake to have fun. I have never been a good guy in any games, and I don't think that it would be very fun either. I have said that I am an asshole many times and I will stick by it. 99% of the people I meet in a game, I am going to be an ass to... that is just the type of player I am. This brings me to my next point... The Iceman I became friends with. I became very good friends with him I thought. I enjoyed playing with him and I enjoyed talking to him as well. I don't waste my time with most people, but I did with him. When Me, and Incognito formed DyNasty, suddenly The Iceman no longer wanted to be friends even after I had asked all off KFC to stay friends, and left quite humbley. I understand that he thought I was trying to 'steal' members, but I was not. I only invited one person, Justice, and that is because I hold him as close as I once held The Iceman. I found him, brought him to ACiD, and even fought to get him into KFC. We had been through a lot together... Can you blame me? Anyway, I found Iceman's willingness to destroy a friendship over a clan was distastefull and unclassy, and quite frankly, it hurt my feelings to find out that a person I thought was my friend was never a friend at all. So I made the KFC/Iceman movie. Now don't get me wrong. I know the movie was rude and hardcore. I am not sorry that I made it, and I would make it again if I had to, and I would make it about anyone that pissed me off enough to spurr the thought. I am however sorry that you guys took it the wrong way. I suppose you guys probably haven't played as many games as I have online and maybe to see a negative movie about someones character was a shock or something? I am not sure. Anyway the movie was about Quake and my disgust with The-Iceman. I am still unsure how anyone got the notion that I was talking about the person behind the computer screen in some other state that I have never seen, met, or talked to, but again... it's not. I apologize that you took it that way. I have made other movies similair about other people and never recieved such an odd response. I am not the only one who makes movies like that either. As for the screenshots on the DyNasty website... We post screenshots because it is fun. I do not keep screenshots sitting on my computer so that I can look at them later. If I posted all of the ones that I have took, I would probably crash the server. I know the wins I have and I don't need to keep a record of them for myself, so I usually delete them as soon as I get them if I decide not to post. I guess you could say it is a form of clan pride in a way... I don't know. We all enjoy posting screenshots of our wins against people that are considered 'formidable' opponents, just like we enjoyed posting them when I was in KFC. I would've assumed that you guys would've been honored that we considered the wins against you 'formidable', but I dunno, you guys have a weird way of thinkin sometimes. The website is an outlet to archive some of our screenshots so that others may view them or even comment on them if they please. I welcome all to post screenshots of me losing if they want to. I very seldom lose to anyone other than my own clan these days, so I honor those that have new shots of me losing. I lost to Some*Thing the other day in a close match and I will admit I was impressed. All of us in DyNasty have no excuses for losing any matches... Ping, or what have you. A loss is a loss, and that is why we all try to wear our [D] name all the time, so that we can look upon our wins and also our losses. I don't like losing but it happens. And we do have a sense of humor about the 'chicken hunting' thing as well, so that earns you guys a few more shots. Are DyNasty and KFC rivals in my opinion? Of course, we are. We are two different clans. Just like CBX and PFD and BWA and DFX and TNT are all our rivals. We do see you guys a lot more so of course you guys are gonna be in our screenshots and movies more. There may be personal friendships between clans, but DyNasty will always be against any clan that isnt theirs. Drama and wars and alliances and what have you make the game fun. It happens. Only the strong survive. This is Quake! Ok maybe I exagerrating, since Quake is getting a little boring lately... but anyway... we aren't trying to pick on anyone. There will be PFD movies and CBX movies in the future... We just gotta come up with ideas for them. Anyway, for gods sake, keep it in the arena. It is still just a game and it is still all for fun. DivX and myself have tried a bit to stray away from making it look like we are pickin on you all, and did not release another KFC video etc. Just remember, if I call you a fag or a bitch... I call everyone that, dont take it serious. There will be no love loss between DyNasty and KFC of course, but maybe sometime we could have a TDM between the two clans.
