~*Quicksilver slinks through the trees, a straight and a natural path cleared for her. The pine needles covering the ground beneath her paws are soft and lenient to her light steps. She crosses a crest, venturing into a canyon thick with game. A wild howl echoes between the closely spaced walls, the earsplitting sound magnified a thousand times. The quadripeds stampede through the gorge, a sigh of dissappointment as insubstantial as a puff of air escaping her. Tireless limbs carry her towards the sound of the retreating prey, the promise of a hunt exciting her. A kill is made, and she feasts, greedily eating of the deer. She buries her kill and sleeps beside it, closely guarded. Her ears listen alertly even in her slumber.*~
