*~*The female wolf seems to have appeared out of no where. The sun glows down upon her forming a halo effect and she looks around in interest. Trotting down the embankment from which she left the mountain region she stops to hunt and refresh her strength. She sees a quail in the distance, and stalks towards it. The fowl is completely aware of her, but injured. She leaps onto it and with a few slashes of her fangs and swipes of her claws the bird is demolished. She eats her meal though it is small with little meat she decides to hunt for bigger game. A wild boar's shriek fills the air and she heads off to inspect the situation. Two boar males are fighting for a female or so it seems and she takes full advantage of the situation. The female hog had walked off a little ways, completely focused on the battle between her suitors. The female wolf steals behind some trees and slinking quietly she lunges onto the female. The hog makes one small last dying shriek and the males scamper off. The female avoids the tusks of the animal and concentrates on digging into the flesh of the neck and stomach areas. After leaving bloody gapes into the hog the animal sinks to the tundra floor. The she wolf eats peacefully and after her meal she leaves the remains for other weaker creatures to feast upon. She lopes down to a river and drinks to her delight enjoying being independent. She lies down in the open under an oak tree*~*
