Such a quiet place, this message board. Fun. :)
Anyway, for those who are actually reading this, chances are you are a Sonic fanfic writer, like myself. Soooooo...
Here's a little challenge. I dare anyone to reply to this thread and tell me a bit about their fanfic. If there's more than one, you can either talk about all of them, some of them, or pick your personal favorite. Whichever. Whatever.
In telling me (and others if they're around) about the fanfic, you can go about on the plot, the characters (if there are any fanchars, explain who they are), and, if you're a little mean and the fanfic is a continuation, include spoilers or what have you. Have fun with it. :P
Or you can ignore this post. I'm bitter. :P
RANT OF THE DAY
The nearest Electronics Boutique store had a playable SA2Battle up! Heeeee! And they cranked up the music, as they should! Whoo! There were also X-Box and PS2 playable stations, but the Gamecube had a few people going at it. Most of them sucked, but when I had my turn at the game (wanted to see how it was playing with a GCN controller), I wowed them with an "A" run at Green Forest. (My favorite stage, and stage theme.)
Anyway, my thoughts on the game as I played were pretty good. It's just like my DC version (it IS a port, after all), but the graphics are nicely polished and the Gamecube controller is better at handling Sonic, methinks, than the DC controller. Although it kinda was difficult to remember where the B button was. I'm so used to hitting X instead of B on my DC version.
Still, a nice improvement, although I have a feeling people will have difficulties in the game, what with the speed and the various moves and so forth. Oh, I hope no newbie plays "Meteor Herd", for their own sakes. They'd be frustrated silly! :)
I SO wanted to play with someone in battle mode, but the others were just so new to the game. I don't wanna waste them. :)
