She didn't know what to think of the pooch, he was cute, in a brutish way, and well mannered. A good guard dog like attitude about him as well. Hazels were able to note the dog's attention directed at her as she spoke, though all it took was Lessa's mention of food and he was back eying her like well a puppy. Chuckling hands moved to wipe any dust off the front of her slacks, not really caring, but out of habit. "A drink does sound good and I did make a small platter of lunch meat sandwiches." Club Alien wasn't a dinner, but it could do in a pinch if it absolutely must.
Moving back into the bar, looking over her shoulder to make sure no one was following them, she did after all still have a strike no pets policy though that'd never been followed even in the glory days of this town. Moving to the bar Angelina filled a dish with fresh water, then poured a glass for herself and Lessa. Though if the woman wanted something else that'd work too, but it was getting towards spring and with that rose the humidity. She already had the fans going inside and their low hum was one of the only things heard minus the small radio in her office. She hadn't turned on the main sterio system yet, that and her DJ kinda had left with his tables so she wasn't sure what to do about that yet.
"So..." Conversation starter, a poor one, and they were off.

Waiting on an angel.
One to carry me home.
Hope you come to see me soon,
cause I don't want to go alone,
I don't want to go alone.
