The way his eyes traveled over her before he spoke was not lost on her. Her grin widened, inwardly flattered--she was sure she must look like hell, all soaked to the bone with raccoon smears of mascara, after all. "That'll work. Back in a jiff, sugar." With that, she was off, headed for the towels he'd spoke of. She used the ladies room to quickly put herself back together, toweling off her hair and wringing out her shirt the best she could. The jeans would have to wait until she got to a dryer. She took care of the muddy rings of mascara framing her hazel eyes, and then, satisfied, headed back to the bar.

She slipped onto a stool, crossing her short but slender legs. Hazel eyes casted around the establishment, which was pretty empty for this time of night, it seemed. Her attention shifted back to the muscled male as he leaned on the bar, and she came close to falling off her stool when he pegged her for exactly what she was.

She'd heard stories of Cascade being a melting pot of creatures, which had been the reason she'd come. Playing the role of human and unable to tell anyone her secret had worked for most of her life, but in truth, the lack of another's understanding has created a small ache in her. So, ever the outgoing young woman, she had struck out to find others that might share her predicament.

She raised an eyebrow at him, a smirk playing on her rosebud lips. "Quite the nose you have, sugar." She said saucilly, reaching out to tap said feature. "Black'll do, but if you really want to impress me, a dab of Bailey's wouldn't hurt." The dampness of her hair and clothes had given her a chill, and she was looking forward to a steaming mug. She let her eyes travel over over him, sizing him up. Instinct told her he was different...but unless she shifted, she'd have no way of knowing anything else. "What's your story, anyhow? How'd you know?" Best to ask, if you really want answers.
