Her hand was stinging from the strike, still vibrating against his cheek, as she seemed to wait for the dam to break. She knew she�d pushed a button now, not only pushed it but placed her thumb on it and held down till she�d ignited the fuse for another nuclear war.

She�d expected explosions and mass violence, had even been gearing towards it but instead she was greeted with fireworks. Mind blowing, curls your toes, and die happy fireworks.

The strong arm that encompassed her waist was felt like a crushing vice as lithe form was pressed to taunt muscle. The hand that had seconds ago rested against the offended cheek, slide down muscular chest in the hopes of pushing him away. Palm flat against the toned flesh covered only by soft shirt fabric.

The kiss disarmed her, hand that had moved to push away changed instead to grasping tugging him closer as with a broken moan she found herself succumbing to the intoxicating kiss and the demanding passion it invoked. They�d have gone at it right there, she was sure of it, or at least in the back of his jeep had not the sound of another vehicle approaching cool her jets.
