Laurie was still blushing from head to toe at admitting allowed what she’d only an hour ago admitted to Toby. Truth or not it was possible she’d spoken out of turn the idea was sure to rub some wrong, though Shania had saved her from acknowledging it with her little stunt. Though as Tumbler and Tori moved to help the other up, Laurie realized she’d become the center of attention again. Toby’s words calmed her, letting her know she’d not messed up too much despite the impromptu announcement. ”It wouldn’t be family if it wasn’t lively.” Comment given sincerely proof that despite everything that had already unfolded they were all invited. They always would be. ”Thank you Stan, I just didn’t see my life without him.” It was true and she squeezed Toby’s arm as Memphis thanked her for taking him off their hands. ”At least I know I’ll never get stranded anywhere with him around.” Small chirp given as she blushed again nodding her thanks to the man as Shania was finally righted, still cursing but seeming to be distracted by whatever Tori had said to her while helping her up. ”And yes there will be cake…lots of it.” She never even knew the joke that could become, which made Angelina laugh only harder as she came back to help Stan pour champagne.

The room was still spinning and she was pretty sure her wrist was gonna be bruised later. One second she was complimenting Tori’s heels and the next she was in the arms of the very man she’d been planning to punch, the impulse was there but the coordination wasn’t though she did give a slight shake of her shoulders to show her dislike, tongue chewed on a second before she said the only thing she really could. ”I wouldn’t fuck you if you paid me anyways.” it was true, though not for the reason he might obviously think. He simply wasn’t her style but had it been any other time or place she might have admitted him nice looking, but not now…not any time soon for that matter. Anything more she’d have spouted was silenced as Tori leaned in to whisper, promising shoes of any color. Beer goggles and all the woman wasn’t stupid she wasn’t about to pass up a deal like that. ”Aight, I can do that.” the second part causing her to pause before she snickered, eying the man as he stormed towards her, he was mad but then she couldn’t blame him. She was still raring to go but seemed she’d have to shift gears now. ”I’ll see what I can do, oh and I want one in red and black.” the only thing she was able to say before Freb was on them and cursing at her in Spanish. ”Oh keep up the Spanish handsome, I like it when you talk dirty.” And with that she was looping her arm in his and stumble walking back to the bar to congrat the two love birds. ”Can I get a toast drink?” Glance given Angelina to see if she’d get lucky or if she’d pushed the final straw with the woman for the night.
