James smirked, giving a shrug as he passed a bottle and a glass to a raven haired young woman at the end of the bar. "He's at that age where he thinks everyone's his mom still. But he's usually with my sister or I, so he shouldn't bother her too much" He picked up another glass and began cleaning it, drying it and setting upside down among the others. "What would you charge for rent?" It might mean he had to take on more hours, but just about anything was better than the motel.

He watched idly as his sister settled down across from a dark haired man, setting the glass of liquor down in front of him with a grin. She was such a social whore sometimes, willing to sit and talk with anyone willing to have her. He really needed to get her a job out of town... "Hey, maybe my sister could help you around the barn. She's not making much where she's working now... And she could do with some mental stimulation..."

i move on like a sinners prayer
i let 'em go like a levee breaks
walk away as if i don't care
learn to shoulder my mistakes
getting reckless when there's no need
break my heart but it won't bleed
i'm better as a memory than as your man
