Racing through the recesses of both his and Emsley's mind,the brunette ran to her retreating form grabbing her waist and pulling her back from the pale man. He had seen this man before. "Leave her be. Its not her time yet." He held the girl in his strong arms and watched as the light began to fade as did the black clod figure with the pale face and hands. "Come on Emsley, wake up darling, please wake up. He can't get you now. I have you. Come back into the world, come back to us." Meanwhile, with his mind completely preoccupied, the brunette male had slumped to the floor leaning against the wall for support. He was being drained by this little excursion. With as much as he could manage to use he tried to reach Ash. "I'm trying to get her back. Death had come for her, but it wasn't the right time, i can promise you that."
