Ash perked up curiously, eyebrows tempting a strange look. But he stayed calm despite her strange reaction. _{That's your fault, Ashi.} The man ran his fingers nervously through his blonde hair, tight black shirt wrinkling even more as the arm lifted. He ended up executing the habit he truly despised, scratching the back of his head. It was a nervous habit, it made him look childish and playful in inappropriate times.

Despite this foolish move he reminded himself he had been speaking in German. The language had stuck to him...he had forgotten most of his English. Maybe she knew German? No, don't be stupid...look at her. She's confused as hell. _{You're not in Germany anymore Ashi.} His mind mocked.

So the man took a deep breath, blue eyes opening in a friendly flutter. "Um...sorry. I'm Ash." he said, reminding himself "English" with every word. It was, as we say, an epic fail. "Wie hei�t du?" he blinked then ran both hands through his hair roughly. "Verzeihung!" he said quickly, then practically fell out of his chair. When he had regained balance he scratched the back of his head again. _{She probably thinks your some kind of a freak...which is true to some extent.} "Sorry..." he finally got out. Then, thinking through his English quick he added. "What is your name?" _{Gawd...this is hard. I hope I don't run into Rues...he'll just keep making fun of my accent.} Ash rolled his eyes at the thought.
