Eremis grinned at Cas' enthusiastic response to finding them their own apartment as soon as possible. He washed down a bite of toasted bread with java and was in the process of licking jam off a finger when Eric entered the room. Obviously, the man wasn't much of a morning person, judging by the scowl on his face. When Eric made a comment about being stuck feeding him and Kisa, Eremis raised a brow. The snide remark made him even more anxious to get the hell out of Eric's house. Hopefully, Cas would find them a place by tonight then Eric wouldn't have to deal with them anymore! If Kisa wanted to move in with them fine, but Eremis had a feeling she enjoyed living with Eric. She usually got off on antagonizing people, and perhaps Eric was her latest victim.

He took another bite of bread then looked up at Kisa when she entered the room. A look of puzzlement crossed his face when she started asking a lot of crazy questions, since he was still unaware of the fact that she had lost her memory. What the hell kind of game was she playing now by asking them what kind of person destroys everything? If anyone should know the answer to that it should be her since she perfected the technique of destroying everything that crossed her path!

"I doubt you cry or ever feel any remorse for the things you do, Kisa," he said lowly, before turning his attention to Cas, who suddenly piped up. Once again, his good mood dissolved instantly as he listened to what the demon boy had to say to Eric. It sounded as if Cas had made a deal with Sebastian to watch over him. He didn't know why that surprised him, since deep down he figured Cas only stayed with him because of the extra money he picked up. A part of him had hoped that Cas enjoyed being his friend but that hope died the minute he told Eric that he felt he should be compensated for spending the night with him. That little comment hurt Eremis more deeply that he cared to admit.

Eremis squeezed his eyes shut and choked down the emotions he felt welling up inside him. The brick wall that surrounded him was supposed to make him cold and incapable of feeling anything anymore. After setting down the rest of his bread, he glanced at each of the faces before him. I don't need any of you! he thought, heatedly. Somehow he would figure out how to get along by himself for a change.

Fueled by anger, he lunged out of his chair and grabbed the cloak and wig. "Don't waste your time babysitting me any more," he hissed at Cas before storming from the room. As he made his way to the door, he slipped on the cloak and tugged the black wig over his head. Eremis blinked back tears of rage while running all the way to the brothel, stopping only once to push aside a beggar that had tried to get too close to him.

Once inside the establishment, he paused in the foyer to catch his breath and remove his disguise. When his heartbeat returned to normal, he hurried to the dining hall where he found Hans and Sebastian sitting at one of the tables. "Give me a half hour to take a bath and get ready then set me up with as many customers as possible," he said to Hans.

Deciding that it was time he became a heartless bastard like everyone else, he turned to Sebastian. "Thought you might like to know that Eric has a mirror that allows him to spy on you. He likes to jerk himself off while watching you." Damn! Being an asshole felt pretty good at the moment!

Eremis spun away from the stunned man and rushed off to his room. He flipped on the faucet for the tub then moved to the wall safe, placing the packet of Tazreen inside before tossing his disguise in the closet. Hopefully, Belald would show up today because he'd need another packet of drugs by tonight. If the mercenary didn’t give him any he might at least be able to tell him where he could purchase them on his own and then he wouldn't have to rely on Cas for anything.

After stripping off his clothes, he poured a glass of brandy and carried it with him to the tub. He added a few drops of scented oil to the warm water then stepped down into the sunken tub. While soaking, he sipped his drink and thought about Belald. The mercenary really did seem to like him a lot. Maybe if I work extra hard at pleasing him today, I can convince him to let me move into his house. Eremis warmed up to the idea of becoming a live-in whore to one of Tegol's men. As least he wouldn't have to worry about ever being hurt again by people he had come to care for, like Kisa and Cas.
