Personal Goals


1) Naturally, I am an introverted individual, who feels most comfortable with few very close friends than dozens of acquaintanceships. One primary goal of mine is to maintain these small handful of relationships I form throughout life, because I’m emotionally drawn to certain individuals I meet who make me feel needed, and I would be broken-hearted to allow myself to discard any of them. I believe the best way to accomplish this is by regularly communicating so that they, too, feel needed, but also make sure some of the communication is open, rather than merely through modern technology, so that we both feel interrelated. :)

2) A more immediate goal of mine is conserving money I make so to provide for a future family and accommodate all their valuable needs, particularly with education, health and insurance, and curb a common habit of spending too much. Thus, when I get employed next time, I will put 80% of what I make into my savings account, with the remaining 20% to be for more immediate purposes (like if I want to go on a date with someone). That way I’m not wasting, but also have something to provide for more current needs.

3) My most important long-term goal is to, before I die, leave my children/grandchildren, etc. with something I created representative of both my creative, artistic passions and my inspirations and loves in life so, when they miss me and want to know who I was and what made me an individual, I have either some compilation of poems, a sculpture, a painting, etc. that is representative of all this, and remember me as a person of comfort and vision. I believe I can do this by constantly fostering my inner-child, see the world, escape my comfort zone for new ideas and never forget who I am now. :)
