Saddle and all the kids go to the store and pick up all the things Mal needs, then they go to the Carter house. The other kids let them in and Saddle gets them to work. "Ok, Mal will probobly be in a wheelchair, so we need to make sure shes got room to get down the hallways, and into every room in the house. any furniture in the hallways or blocking the doorways needs to be moved for awhile. Mikki, you direct the hallway and doorway clearing, Kelsey, Angel, Adrianna and I are going to get the junk room cleared out for Mal to stay in." Saddle tells them all. Mikki gets everyone started, and Saddle, Angel and Adrianna and Kelsey all get to work cleaning out the room. They start by labeling all the boxes and moving them to the attic. Then all the extra furniture gets moved to the basement. They move the bed from the guest bedroom downstairs and set it up by the window. Next to the bed, they put a table for Mal's medication and supplies. Mikki helps Angel move Mal's bookcase to the room and they put it on the other side of the bed, where Mal can easily reach it. Next to the bookcase, they put another smaller, thinner table for Mal's cd player and cd's. Across the room from the bed, Saddle puts a wall TV rack (like they have at the hospital) on the way, and sets a TV up on there. On the other side of the room, Saddle and Kelsey move the couch so Mal's visitors can sit. They also bring several chairs into the room. Then Saddle thoroughly cleans the house with the kids help. By the time the house was completely ready for Mal's return there was just enough time for them to make a huge welcome home sign for Mal and decorate her room with fresh flowers and balloons. Saddle opens the curtains and checks everything over again, then Kelsey and Angel decide to make cookies for everyone. Just as the cookies finish cooking Aaron's car pulls into the driveway. "MOM'S HERE!" Mikki calls to everyone. They all rush out and Aaron hands them all bags and tells them where to put the bags. Then he goes to the trunk and takes out a wheelchair and rolls it to the passenger door. He opens the door and helps a very pale Mal out..........
