 "We can go back up to the house, i just want to check on the mares first. Travis took care of them today and he can be a little forgetful, especially when hes thinking about Lily" Kelsey replies. Alli and Laura agree. they jog over to the barn and Kelsey checks the horses over, making sure their stalls are clean, they have water and they are comfortably eating their hay. First she looks at Stormy, the pretty gray mare bumps Kelsey with her head affectionately. Next, Kelsey checks on Lady. The young horse playfully nibbles on Kelsey's hands and Kelsey scolds her. "Shes got to outgrow this nibbling phase, doesnt she?" Kelsey mumbles, wiping her hands off on her jeans. Then they go to Lily's stall. The chestnut mare shies away and quickly moves to the back of her stall. Kelsey rolls her eyes "And let me introduce the most friendly and loving horse on the farm, Travis's mare Lily" Kelsey tells them sarcastically. "She was abused and Travis is sure he can turn her around. I'll be amazed if he can walk in her stall without getting his head kicked off any time in the next year" Kelsey mutters, checking the mares water quickly. "Whats wrong with her?" Alli asks. "She was abused" Kelsey replies. "Well, ready to head back up to the house?".......
