Back at the Bender houshold, Ashley was getting ready for her date with Matt again. She walked out of the shower, and got dressed in a long, silky black dress. After she smooted out her hair, she put it into a messy bun and then put on her make-up. Ashley walked downstairs, carefully watching herself so she wouldn't get anything messed up. That's when Sammy walked up to her, dancing and prancing around, trying to mess up her day like always.
"Ashley, Ashley! Matt called and says he hates you!" she taunted
"Oh please." Ashley said "He'd never do that!"
Samantha pouted and ran upstarits to her room, and started to think up of another plan.
Meanwhile, Ashley was staring at hereslf in the mirror, and putting on her perfume again! Then, she gently put on her high heels and sat on the bench by the front door, waiting for Matt.
~MATT'S HOUSE~
Meanwhile, Matt was all dressed in a black tuxedo. He got into his comvertable and drove to our house, all dressed up and ready to go!
Matt came driving in her car over to our house. Ashley jumped in and away they drove to 'Lily's Diner'. They walked through the doors of the diner, hand in hand, and Ashley found a place to sit and eat while Matt ordered their food. Ashley had a medium buffet, while Matt had the same thing. They got their food and sat down. It was silent the first few minutes until Ashley started giggling at the silence. Matt laughed back and they started to talk more. The chat started out about what their intrests were.
"So." Matt started "Which is your favorite animal and why?"
"Well, I love koalas the most. I like them beacause they are sooo cute! Not to mention they live in my favorite continent!" Ashley answered.
Then it was Ashley's turn to ask Matt a question. She thought a moment and then gave a slight smirk to him.
"Ok, your favorite country to learn about and why?" She asked
Matt answered saying. "Well I love to learn about France, just beacause it has some cool language and has come funky traditions to it!" he laughed.
The two laughed at Matt's answer and then strated some gossip. Ashley started the gossip, babbling her mouth off.
"Well I heard that Mrs. Tchaikovky is the most evil teacher in the whole city of Fantail! Sammy's friend Madeline said she gave out a test on the fifty states and their capitals and the Candian provinces and their capitals on the first day of school! Not to mention she gives out detention if you make a face at something or someone!" she blurted.
Matt smirked and managed a giggle as he continued their conversation.
"Wow, what a mean teacher! Say, I know the most nicest teacher in the whole world" he said cautiously.
"Who?"
"Mrs. Navageble."
"What makes you think so?"
"Well Emily had her last year."
"so?"
"She never gave out citations, or any kind of punishment. And she let the students do whatever they wanted!" he said.
"What kind of stupid teacher would do that?" Ashley asked questionably.
"That's what Jess, Emily and me wonder, sometimes it's just the plain wierdness in a funky teacher! Eh?"
Ashley smiled and nodded, knowing that Matt's word was 'funky' and was never going to change. The two finsihed their meals and put everything away. Then, they took a stroll along the neighborhood steets in the moonlight.
They stood silently most of the time as Matt had his arms around Ashley's waist girlfriend/boyfriend style. When they came to the end of the moonlit road, Matt kissed Ashley passionately and they strolled back to the car again. Matt drove Ashley home, as they blabbed around in the car. Ashley said goodbye to him as she hurried into the house again. She walked back up to her room, where she found Anna reading a book on her bed. Ashley snuck bye and returned to the bathroom with her soft silk, blue pajamas. After Ashley got dressed she thought about what happened that night again, and drifted off to sleep.
