I woke up to the sound up my daughter, Sammy, yelling and hitting John jr. "WHERE DID YOU PUT PRINCESS?!?!?!?" I heard Sammy yell, as she hit him with her cast. "How am I supposed to know who Princess even is?!?!?" John yelled. I got out of bed, trying to ignore the toddlers. I took out my clothes, cargo pants, and a "Angel" shirt. I took a shower and went doen to the kitchen. Sammy was still banging John with her cast. "Morning Mom!" Anna joyfully chanted, as she fed Lisa, the baby. Anna was practiclly in charge of Lisa, and wouldn't let anyone do the chores for her. Fluffy, Sammy's white kitten, scampered into the kitchen, Ashley close behind. Ashley scooped the kitten up, and cuddled her. "HEY THAT'S MY CAT!" yelled Sammy. "Samantha Marie!" I yelled back. "Chill, Princess is on your doll shelf where you left her, and Fluffy is a family cat, chill!" Samantha calmed down, running to her room to get Princess. She came back into the kitchen, cluthcing her white teddy bear. "Say, where's dad?" Anna asked. "GOO goo goo GOO!" slobered Lisa. I laughed and said "Dad's at work, and won't be home til' lunch." Ashley walked up to the cabinet in the pantry. "I'll cook some pancakes Mom." she said. I gratfully thanked her. I played around with the paper a little, as I watched the kids.
Sammy was playing with her dolls and horse models.
John was staring at the computer.
Anna was playing "Pat-A-Cake" with Lisa
Ashley was cooking pancakes.
and Lisa was slobering on her high-chair.
"Come and Get it! Ashley called to the family. Everone rushed to the table. We said our prayers, and helped ourselves to pancakes! "Remeber, you guys have to work around the barn today." I said
"We know, we know." grumbles John.
When everone was finished eating breaskfast, we hurried out to Shining Meadow Stables. John quickly ran to the tack room, and started polishing all the tack. Sammy walked up and down the isles, collecting feed and water buckets, filling them, and putting them back again. Anna, in her wheelchair, walked into the stalls one by one, grooming the horses and ponies throughly. And I helped Ashley muck out the stalls when Anna was done. As we mucked out the stalls, Ashley turned out the horses and ponies into their proper pasture. Then, when all the barn chores were done, everyone walked back to the house to have a normal day. Everone went back to what they were doing. I opened the Sunday paper, and read it, waiting to see if anyone would visit us.
