When I walked into the barn, I heard groaning, and knew immidiatly that the two mare from the broodmare barn were having their foals. I walked up to Faith's stall, seeing a small brown, tabiano colt standing on stilty legs. Then, I walked down to Eternal's stall, seeing a little sorrel overo just getting up on her little stilty legs. I smiled and ran back to the house, telling all the members of the family. They all came out to see the colt and filly, and we all cooed with amazment.
"What should we name them?" asked Anna thoughfully.
"I was thinking we could name the filly Summer Breeze" I said, because her patches are the color of summer.
"Let's name the colt Amazon Splash!" shouted John jr.
I motioned for him to lower his voice and everyone agreed on the names.
Two new foals were born, a great Thanksgiving gift!
