*OK, the only people we are waiting on are Lauren & Katie, so I'm just going to pretend they arrive...
Melanie answered the door and Katie, Jamie, Staci and amanda were standing there. She could see Lauren's car pulling up. Stephanie, Samantha, and Joe hurried out and hurried over while Lauren unloaded the horses. Melanie hugged her friends and led the way back inside. "Ok everyone, horses!" She led them outside. "Tack up and meet at the gate!" Melanie quickly slipped the saddle & bridle on Princess and led the 14.3 hand mare over to the gate. She pulled on her helmet and swung into the saddle. Cassidy led Gent over and Jon gave her a leg up. Jennifer was mounted on Goddess and Brandon was on Gamble. "I know you don't want your parents interfering," Brandon said with a smile. "So we won't." Melanie flashed him a grin. Soon everyone was mounted. Jenny led the way. First they walked down the dirt road, past a few houses and farms. "Don't worry, this isn't the ride," Melanie called over her shoulder. They took a shortcut and arrived at Sparkling Springs, a local park. They chose a trail open to horse back riders and headed up the shady path. Many of the riders had never been on this trail before. They talked happily as Jenny led the way. The winding dirt trail twisted through big, leafy trees. Melanie was riding beside Bogsdan and Stephanie. Behind her Cassidy rode next to Suzie & Jon...the horses walked down a hill and into a large clearing. "Horse tag!" Jenny announced, pulling her Arab mare off to the side. "Yeah, I'm it!" Melanie whipped out her crop and dug her heels into Princess's sides. The surronding riders scattered, laughing. Melanie darted after a group and leaned out of the saddle. Her whip brushed against someone's arm....that someone continue!
They can play mounted games and stuff in the clearing ok? :-D
