After Gordon's amazing escape from the jaws of defeat, they take on reigning premiers Balmain for the 4th consecutive time.

Balmain haven't played since their last encounter with Gordon which ended in a narrow low-scoring victory.

The venue for the final is Waitara and should provide for good cricket.

Balmain's batting revolves around Lisa Keightley and Leonie Coleman at the top of the order with solid contributors in captain Jule Hayes and Sarah Stephenson. Martha Winch would also be a handy back up if available.

Their bowling is mix of right and left handers although it's believed that they will be missing the services of opening bowler Leanne McWilliams. The bowling will rest in the hands of "Swampy" Marsh, Hayes, Kate Walsh, Tiffany O'Neill and Stephenson.

Gordon have reached the final on the strength of their bowling as their batsmen have struggled to set defendable targets in recent weeks (last week notwithstanding!).

Captain Shannon Cunneen, Jodie Davis and Lisa Sthalekar will need to fire as will the Blackwell twins (Kate and Alex) who provided the bulk of the runs last week.

Bronwyn Calver, Charlotte Anneveld, Sthalekar, Sally Butler and Julie McVie will need to be on line from the first ball to restrain the Balmain charge.

Get to Waitara if you can!
