Here's the result for the First grade match between Wallsend and Bankstown played at Bankstown Oval on Sunday.

Bankstown won the toss and had a bat.
We struck early, Julie McVie pulling off two classic catches in the early overs off the bowling of Sarah Andrews. Bankstown batted right up until the last over before their last wicket fell all out for 151.
Best with the bat for Bankstown, Sally Shaw 27 and Belinda Allard 26 no. Top bowlers for Wallsend were, Berni Walsmley 3-22, Julie McVie 2-24 and Sarah Andrews 2-28.
Our batting started off shaking with the loss of a few early wickets. Opener Leah Poulton hung in there and ended up batting to near the end of our innings eventually being stumped for 65. We finished all out for 102.

Also the new wallsend Website will be online by the end of the week.
