I have never been someone who could have imagined contemplating abortion, but I am sorry to say that I did contemplate it for my fourth child, despite that child being planned. THANK YOU for the advice received here - all things I knew - but things I needed to hear. I lived with anxiety and fear throughout my pregnancy - fears about bonding, etc - but I am pleased to say that OUR BABY IS HERE! She arrived on the 11th of July - a month early - and all is well with her. Her name is Penelope. I LOOK AT HER AND KNOW I COULD NOT HAVE LIVED WITH MYSELF HAD I ENDED HER PRECIOUS LIFE. There is a normal fear factor that many women are faced with in an unplanned pregnancy (and sometimes even a planned one). Women want the fear and uncertainty to go away. They may turn to abortion in an attempt to do away with the fear. Unfortunately, they will never know their child. And many will live with deep guilt and regret for the rest of their life. I'm so happy to hear of your strength and determination. I'm happy you choose to deal with the fear. You have been rewarded with your newest addition. Congratulations! Blessings, Shellie
