One of my closest friends just found out yesterday that she is pregnant. She knows who the father is but she became pregnant after a one-night stand with him. She is only 23 and really in no position(emotionally, financially, etc) to have a child. Since she just found out last night, I do not think she has made any sort of decision. She also called her ob/gyn who said to make an appointment in a few weeks. I think she needs to speak with a professional sooner in order to know all of her options. Any suggestions on options other than an ob/gyn or general practitioner?

I want to be there for her and support her in any way I can. Is there any advice or suggestions that you all could share with me? Maybe something that someone told you while you were facing this decision that helped? I am sure it is a different experiance for everyone, but I am scared for her; I can only imagine how scared she must be. I would really appreciate any thoughts or feedback anyone could share. Thank you!
