To answer your question, 6 days would be a little soon. These articles might help you in knowing about taking a pregnancy test and when would be the best time to take one.

You might want to wait a bit, and if you need to, take another test. The biggest reason for a false negative is taking the test too soon.

I know I'll probably sound rude here, and I'm sorry, I'm not trying to...

But, if you read the instructions on the test, it says to wait until three or four days before you're supposed to get your period for accurate results. But, it's better to wait until you actually do miss your period...

So, ya, I'd wait a bit and test again.
