I don't remember off the top of my head, but a lot of things were just tasteless. Sometimes it seemed like you were harassing ordinary people.

Getting people pissed off is a good indication that you've gone too far.

That "let's say random things for no apparent reason" thing doesn't exactly make you sound cool.

"So you want to compile your kernel at nine o'clock?" What the hell is that for? The only random thing in that call I liked was the bit about the wheelchair.

>The technical end as far as what?

I'm just generalizing. You know those Linux dweebs that don't know what they're talking about? The kind of people that post on Slashdot? "MS bad, Linux good, Linus God, RMS crazy, kernel kernel kernel, Bill Gates sucks! What's a libc? Mac OS X is FreeBSD!"

A bunch of calls. You'd slip in kernel this and compile that. I don't think it was too far over anyone's head. (You were asking "what version of the kernel are you using?", not "what system call interrupt is sys_sched_getparam()?" :P)

rsynth isn't too great. Buried in FTP directories, though, I found the IBM ViaVoice text-to-speech SDK for Linux. (They've discontinued this port, so I had to look pretty hard.)
