I know most colleges have an admissions office/orientation/prospective office that fields questions from incoming or interested students. I was in my own college's public-touring office just last week and overheard a conversation about the prospective visiting students that are majoring in or studying what the prospective is interested in, or setting up a meeting with a professor that teachs what the student is interested in... this is the prank idea: You could call X college and say you are a prospective student looking at the school and a few other's. Ask the spokesperson an uncomfortable question (like you are used to doing) about sex on campus or some other topic.. (maybe drugs/drinking/crime). The key is to be explicit. Example questions might be: "How many students on campus have sex, safe sex or unprotected sex?", or "Do teachers have affairs with and/or molest students?", or "Are trans-gender people tollerated among the campus community?" "How many lesbians are on campus?" etc... The questions could be asked from a naive/prude point of view, or they could be asked from a biggot/sexist/ultra-conservative point of view. Or some other variation. Another related idea to this topic: call the office that deals with questions from prospective students... ask a simple/normal question and get directed to speak with student with similar interests... (think of a funny major) Then, call the student and ask the student extremely awkward questions even stronger than the previous ideas... ex: "Have you had sex with your roomate? I am nervous about having to live with somebody... " etc... I think you get the idea. It would be smart to call a college that you don't go to... in case somebody recognizes your voice!
