Yes I am from New England (Massachusetts). Just got home from ice fishing. It was a bad outing, no pike. Every year for the last 4 years we've made a fly-in trip to remote lakes in Canada. The biggest fish so far has been a 25lber caught on a Rapala husky jerk. I've been trying for a 30lber for some time now but they're not easy to come by here. Our state record is just over 35 but they are far and few between. A really good fish here is 20lbs. But, I know in Canada there are a few 30's hanging around. I've fished dead bait with out much success. Did today as a matter of fact. Most of the fish I catch are on lures but after seeing the pictures in this forum I think I should try some other ways. Thanks for your reply, good talking to you.........John
