I've just moved down South from the Midlands and have found plenty of good Carp Venues to have a crack at. With autumn and Winter soon upon us I was hoping to find some good venues for Pike fishing, I'm looking for some easier waters for plenty of action and some lakes which contain pike in the 20lb region as I have set myself a target of a 20lb'er for this winter (I'm yet to beat 15lb). I have heard that Thorpe park contains some good pike but i'm not sure if this is available on a day ticket. Can any of you Southern Pikers give me some good names of local venues on a day ticket and maybe some tactical advice.
