Thanks for all the advice, i really do appriate such a quick response, i was just a little confused because you hear a lot of people saying "i just had 2 plucks" and i was a bit confused if i should strike on these "Plucks" or what i should do!
i have only caught 2 chub at 3 1/2ib on lures but that was in a weir pool so i didnt know i had them until they came to the surface.
I am now trying in a lakes, one in praticular called "Earlswood lakes" near salfords, redhill area, where i know there are jakes and big perch.
Any advice or help on lure fishing would be great
