Don't get carried away by the prices in BassPro and Cabalas catalogue. The final cost is going to include 40% of the total cost as postage if you want it quickly (within about 5-6 days)or 20% of the total cost as postage if it goes surface mail and that can take up to 2 months. Also include 20-25% duty and UK post office charges. As a quick calculation dollar prices in the catalogue are going to cost you about the same in pound notes. Also beware of buying expensive items of kit that is not normally available in the UK, Cabalas reels for example. If they go wrong you can only send them back to the USA.............. There is an up side to all of this. You do get a great range of tackle particularly for lure fishing, a lot of which which is unique and not available in the UK and it's usually in stock for immediate delivery. Anyone ordering from Cabalas soon, try their titanium leaders, they are kink proof, expensive but last for ever and also living eye minnows 6" and 8" my secret perch and chub lures (well they were secret until now) [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ]
