Oh dear, not an easy question to answer! I know a number of zed / pike anglers speak very highly of the Marvic/Martin Page pike rod. Bit like advising you on a rod is a bit like telling you what shoes to buy! What suits one man might not suit another. Personally I have a couple of North Weston 2 1/2 lb t.c. carp rods that are a bit softer than a 'pike' rod that I happily use for zeds, on the rare occasion that I fish for them. I actually bought them for boat pike fishing for which I find them to be ideal.
