Peter,

Thankyou for asking I am fine, I was going to come down to Lowerstoft but alas I cannot make the date arranged and now it's fallen through. I was going to attempt to find you and hopefully learn something about lure fishing. It is a method I just cannot get to grips with, and it would please the wife and kids if I stop livebaiting.

A friend of my has been using carrots and carving them into a fishy shape and drilling a hole through the middle and inserting a wire trace and attaching a size 8 treble. He hasn't caught anything yet but given time and the right shape carrot I think he's onto a winner.

I think I may have had a funny turn last week, I nearly bought my youngest daughter a pole.

Regards
Les.
