Um, hate to sound rude, but don't expect to make any money raising chickens. Most people do it simply for the love of it. And even if you had a market and you were raising 'show quality fowl' or organic birds for meat or something, you'd still have to deal with the USDA/State Ag/etc and all kinds of red tape. Good luck finding something that will work for you. Perhaps you could find a small nich in the egg business, especially if you sold organic eggs.
