Subject: NOEL MAGUIRE - A CORRECTION!

It is reported on another website that Republican prisoner Noel Maguire has lost his application for repatriation to Portlaoise Prison.
This is incorrect! Following his transfer from HMP Full Sutton to Whitemoor Prison in Cambridgeshire two months ago, Noel re-applied to the Irish Ministry of Justice for repatriation to Portlaoise Prison and duly signed the appropriate papers - which were received and acknowledged by the Justice Minister personally. Noel has also been given a clean bill of health to travel, and has had it confirmed his current Irish passport is still valid.
He believes - as we do - that his legal entitlement to serve his sentence in country of origin will ultimately be respected.
Misleading statements regarding Noel's case have been posted in the past - and not necessarily deliberately.
Any info on Noel can be had from those who are in contact with him on a regular basis.
