2008, since January, has been a very demanding year as it marked the 40th anniversary of Derry's first-ever civil rights march.-VIEW- www.nicivilrights.org Because of such the monitoring of this board became a secondary priority, due to the lack of voluntary workers, most of whom were very active on the 40th anniversary commemoration committee. We make no apology as 1968 was a major watershed in Irish history and our attention to such proved highly successful on a cross-comminity and educational front.
We hope to improve our attention to the "WATCH" from Jan. 1st 2009.
