Subject: Is Helen [not Troy] of New Jersey right?
In reply to: Helen McClafferty - The Blanket 's message, "Compromise, Compromise, Compromise!" on Thu, Feb 15 2007, 20:56:05 PST

Is Helen right? Has the LVF de-commissioned? Did I miss something? Did I have longish blink or have a 24-hour hang-over that day?

Helen thumps-down Direct Rule, but one thing is sure, if Direct Rule is re-imposed, [after March 7th] then the Adams and McGuinness sell-out strategy has failed, and failed utterly. Joint Rule is I believe a bluff, to scare the Orange po£itician$ into accepting Plan A, devolution. London will never treat the Dublin government as an equal when it comes to "administering" the wee Sick Six. Imerialism/London capitalism never have, or never will confer "equality or parity of esteem" to Dublin, particularly when such would effectively undermine its current dominant status, over both North (6) and South (26).

Helen seems to think power-sharing within a British state-let is just dandy, but is it? At least if Direct Rule returns,-Thanks to the Big Man- we "dissidents" can point to A & Mc G and the Stormont-Brigade and say, as Connolly said: "Britain will still rule you, through her financial institutions, through her landlords, etc. etc.

Can someone please complete that very relevant quote for me, as it's been a hard day's night and I must Beatle-off to bed soon after grabbing Helen's share of The Blanket.

All you need is Love, Love, Love is all you need. John Lennon, or was that Paul McC????????

Have a nice day Helen. Better still, sleep on what you wrote, have a re-think when next you avail of your bed and The Blanket.

Regards-Bogsider
