.mascul' watched the fem cross the hall to retrieve her guitar, softly strumming the strings of his own. his gaze was caught by her quick retrieval and avoidance of Julian. he frowned, studying her behavior as she returned to her seat before him. digits ceased to roamed over the strings as she spoke, features intent upon listening. he nodded at her words. I've also learned piano and violin, but I always return to the guitar.

Umber ooids are nervous as female senses that the male caught on that she disapproved of Julian. Lustrous waves of sepia-shade spill past pate as head is tilted forward, situating the instrument in her lap, not usually one to play before another. Slender, talented digits move delicately along the strings, a long and lonely note spraying from her fingers. Having been working on her own song, her voice gentley hums, it's tone low as of not to distract anyone from their eating or being idiots or whatever they were being regarded as doing.

Soft hum slowly comes to an end as digits wheedle their way along the strings, ending with another long and lonely note; well, that was what her song was about. Being lonely, teased, and tormented out of her mind. Crimson lips part, blowing the locks out of her eyes, peering at the male curiously. "I enjoy harps, guitars, mandolins.. Anything of the such.. I have a knack with strings, but I can do the rest, " Pretty lass responds, voice gentle. Her only confidence was in her instruments and singing, yet probably not much, for she hardly ever hummed, sang, or even played anything for anyone. Unless she found someone who seemed so alike with herself, but she hardly found that kind of company..

.nodded his agreement, not giving another outward sign acknowleding her disapproval of the opposing male. Strings...seems to be the better instruments...next to voice of course. Though they are called your vocal chords. .soft smile was given as he raised his gaze to her, watching her fingers roam o'er the strings. hesitated before playing a chord and singing a few phrases softly and nearly entirely acapella. Every choir and congregation, every language, every nation together singing, then and now, "Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound? how sweet the sound." .strummed the final chord, and paused before plucking individual notes for entertainment. he had never been the best at conversation, never the one to keep a conversation going. perhaps that was why he stayed in the outskirts of groups, only giving his input when desired.

Umber ooids gaze thoughtfully at the male, intent as he sings. She, in particular, wasn't exactly one for singing in front of others. It wasn't like the silent female was embarrassed it was just.. Well.. She just couldn't.. For those who actually have witnessed her voice, they can vouch for the fact that her voice is amazing, like no other. The part that was disappointing was still that she didn't share it.

Russet locklets brush her cheeks as her head tilts downward, gazing at the strings before hesitantly mimicking the fellow's tune. How strange.. Her fingers moved in unison to the boy's as if she were controlled by a something. How was it that she could just pick that up? Well, many have asked that about her and maybe more, but rarely did anyone know. Perhaps she had a gift of some sort? Made to play? Perhaps..
