He froze, entirely paralyzed for a split second as Celeste gave the good-bye to the boy behind him. He cringed as he listened to the quick footsteps depart, and then were replaced by his acquaintance beside him. The tension was kept hidden in his interior, loathing every moment he was spending now. He, in all truthfulness, never thought that such a concise confrontation could arouse anything in anybody. But the rhythm of Sean's footsteps said better.

He sighed, arm lax around Celeste, regret staying in the back of his mind but nevertheless there. He smiled, forcing himself to become clueless about anything. Ignore it, Julian, and it will go away. Really, it will. I'm such the enigma," He snorted and rolled his eyes, a drifting try of a glimpse behind them.

But of course, he didn't want that to be true. They could still be friends, after all, right? Right. That's what they would have become in the first place. Friends. Right. "Well, cherie, that's a comfort to know. I suppose I should expect strangers to pop out of nowhere, approach me, then tell me that I caught their eye.
