A great game today. I am disappointed not to get all 3 points but when you go 2-0 down in the first 6 minutes against a side like West Ham then you have to be pleased to take a draw. I thoroughly enjoyed the game, there were some good individual performances by some of my players. Steve McManaman had a good debut and I think he will settle in well here. There will be changes for the next game though because we are yet to win and I would like that statistic to be corrected as soon as possible. The lads were disappointed to go out of the Worthington Cup at such an early stage during the week but it could have gone our way in the end. Nobody likes to take penalties and Sergei Rebrov was very upset to be the one who missed in the shootout but I've told him not to worry. We can now concentrate on moving up the league table and hopefully we can have a good FA Cup run later on. I am still looking to add to squad and as it has been speculated, I am very interested in bringing Jay Jay Okocha over to play for Spurs. I am having him scouted right now and if the price is right I am confident we can tempt him to the Premiership and more importantly, tempt him to Tottenham Football Club.
Thank you
