Subject: small poodle of 5 pounds almost snap by a hawk

I am French,and we love dogs .My little dog was almost snap in front my eyes by a hawk who fly on him ,but I have a tool in hand and swift in the air and first take my baby.This time I was very lucky ,I do not know that birds take small pets,and i see that bird try to feed on my tiny birds ,the one from nature .The ones i feed every days
If my dog go outside I get the harnais and the long laisse.
I do not want take bad chance once .This is a Santa Monica California.
