My guy is 3 years old and weighs 14.5 pounds, our vet told me when I first took him in that I might have an original sized Yorkie which didn’t matter to me because I didn’t get him for show or to become a breeder, I got him to become a friend. I want to make sure that no one out there thinks that he is over weight or unhealthy, I take him to the vet regularly and they tell me every time that he is just a big boy. He has become my husband’s best friend and is loved as much or more then any champion out there. I also have a “normal” sized female and she is no smarter or better then him in any way, they are loved and treated as equals!
