There were so many things they could have done with the baby--scenes of the real-life that Scully so desperately wanted. I still can't imagine the anguish she felt each time the little guy was in danger and knowing Scully, she blamed herself for putting him in such precarious situations. It was hard enough to lose Mulder. but to go through life knowing your son could be taken at any minute by some nutcase must have been far too much for her. Hopefully he is safe! Reminds me of the King Arthur legend where Arthur was put into another home to be raised for his own safety. Now that would be too much to ask for as I am a huge King Arthur-Arthurian Legend fan.
