Great concept. I'm not a Keanu fan but he does OK. I say Laurence Fishburn steals the film. One thing you can say about this movie, it makes the wacky kung fu fight scenes from Hong Kong movies plausible. In many an HK film (or if you've seen "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon"), kung fu fighters jump 20 feet into the air and do 20 moves before they hit the ground. Sure, its fantasy but it is quite jarring to new viewers. My wife saw CTHD with me and laughed at all the jumping. The Matrix does this but has a reason for it. Perhaps I won't spoil those who want to be surprised. Most action films are a dime a dozen but this was a step up. One of my favs for sure, hope the sequels hold up.
