I barely remember the film. I don't mind the political slant if it's a good film and this was. I can appreciate any good filmmaking no matter what the viewpoint. I won't watch The West Wing though! Bleh!

I don't like dubbing either. Once I saw this French film on cable called Get Out Your Handerchiefs and it sounded like they had Southern US accents!
The Japanese dubbing is another story, that's fun to watch from a Mistie standpoint. Also the Jackie Chan movies are fun dubbed.

I knew the Roshomon story for years. Just about every tv show has used its theme for an episode (including TXF in Bad Blood) but when I finally saw the film I was just disappointed in it as a movie.
