It's almost time two watch episode number two and I'm just getting around to episode number one!

First off, how cute are Mulder and Scully in the pilot? Mulder with his floppy hair and high talking, Scully with her bad suit and sensible underwear.

One of the biggest contrasts I saw between Pilot Mulder and The Truth Mulder was how happy and optimistic Pilot Mulder was. The way he was dancing around when they lost time, practically giddy throughout parts of the episode. By The Truth Mulder was jaded. It's funny, because I've always thought of Scully as the dynamic character and Mulder as the static character, but really Mulder has changed. His stuborness and beliefs didn't change, but his attitude certainly did.

The scene at the end where Billy Miles is being hypnotized really stuck out to me. Scully behind the glass with Blevins and other guy trying to reign Mulder in. She really did start out on the other side. Of course Scully never tried to do anything but her job, but it was an interesting contrast. And the look Mulder gave her right through the one sided glass said it all. He knew all about the agenda.

Stardoe, have you seen all the way up through The Truth? Cause if not I don't want to post anything that might spoil it for you.
