A newsletter I get says DD will be directing one of the remaining eps, not acting in it however. He's only acting in the 2 hour finale. Yes, det, I guess that makes it 12 since I suppose in reruns they will edit it into 2 eps. Only it is claimed that the final 5 eps and especially the finale will clear up the whole mytharc. Guesses anyone?

Monica is Samantha? CSM is still alive? CSM is Mulder's father? Umm...don't really know what they'll have since they confused me so much I can't remember the unanswered questions anymore.
