Hey, I don't like Doggett very much, but I think not even *HE* deserves to be stuck with somebody like Reyes!! She is awful!!
Quite frankly, I pretty much limit my shippiness and my fanfic to Mulder and Scully. I suppose I'd sort of like Byers to get together with Suzanne Modeski, but I've got no desire to write stories about them. And I'd like Skinner to be happy with *somebody* (his wife? his secretary?) but I don't write about that, either.
However, if we do have to have a season nine I hope they kind of divide it into two separate X-Files units. Mulder and Scully can be one unit and Doggett and whoever can be the other unit. They can rotate eps so they never come in contact with each other. I will watch the Mulder/Scully eps, but not the other ones.
