I'm glad you liked my story. Yeah, it would be nice if Jimmy and Yves show up with the rest of the gunmen when/if they appear on season nine. I'm not sure the guys will be around much, though. They mostly provide comic relief, and CC seems to be trying to get away from the "lighthearted" eps and back into serious, scary stuff.
As for "Probe" it was only on for about six weeks, sometime in the late 80s or very early 90s. It starred Parker Stevenson, best known as one of the Hardy Boys on the 70s TV show of the same name. I don't remember what day, network or time it aired.
I would have thought I was the only person in the world, other than people who actually worked on the show, who would remember "Probe" after all these years. However, I wrote a previous fanfic with Austin and Michelle (one of my series where Mulder and Scully are married) and was amazed by the number of people who e-mailed me to say: "Wow, I remember that show!"
In a lot of ways, I think "Probe" was kind of a forerunner of "The X-Files". It has a lot of the same elements: science fiction, a touch of humor and UST between the leads.
