And by 'correct' I should clarify that I mean the other guesses aren't wrong, but they just don't match what I was thinking of so we'll leave those open for further guessing.

The ones that match mine so far are:

1. Ghost in the Machine & Folie Deux (Lurker Ed)
--Both eps feature a scene with M&S on an elevator.

8. Ascension & Christmas Carol (Lurker Ed)
--Both eps give us stories about how Scully first got her cross.

10. Tempus Fugit & THe Unnatural (Islandgirl)
--Both eps have Mulder celebrating Scully's birthday. :-)

12. Paper Hearts & Two Fathers (Lurker Ed)
--Both eps show Mulder shooting baskets/a basket

17. Pilot & Synchrony (sheisme)
--Both eps refer to Scully's thesis

18. Erlenmyer Flask & Herrenvolk (Athenaphile)
--Both eps have Mulder's informants (Deep Throat and X) being killed

19. The Jersey Devil & En Ami (Lurker Ed)
--In both eps we see a dressed up Scully going out to dinner.

20. Fire & Anasazi (Athenaphile)
--Both eps have gratuitous Mulder underwear scenes.
